..I wanted to share with you a couple of things I purchased off of E-bay for a steal! First these amazing gloves...
...Okay - so they are not exactly riding gloves..but ohhh so Victorian!
and this set of wooden glove stretchers. These will come in handy since my Mothers fingers were smaller than mine and I love to wear her gloves!

Oh those gloves are gorgeous!!! I love the stitching on them.
I was at an antique store this weekend and they had a few pairs of chamois and light colored kidskin gloves, unfortunately they were way too small for my hands.
I saw a couple of really nice cigar boxes too and almost bought one!
Oh Lord...I am causing my friends to lust after the things that I post about! ha ha...
I too have the issue with gloves not fitting. My hands are larger than my Mothers were and usually larger than ones I find in antique stores too....but that does not stop me from looking!
Those are BEAUTIFUL gloves!! Are you going to wear them to ride in or just for special occasions?
You ladies would have loved the Side Saddle Association National Show here in the UK last August as there was a vendor there selling lots of antique and vintage gloves, most were kidskin too.
I was very good as I only bought one pair (a pair of lovely 1940's chamois ones) but I was sorely tempted by them all as most of them fit my big size 7 1/2 hands!
They had all the accessories too like the glove stretchers and button hooks too, you would have loved it!
Oh Sidesaddle girl...you are so lucky! I feel sometimes like I am stranded on an island trying to learn all of this. The only time I have been able to experience sidesaddle (outside of what I have done) has been at an Arab show, exhibiting in the next arena over from one of my shows!
Gorgeous gloves. Love the stretchers (I wouldn't have known what there were had I come across them in an antique store).
Those are some pretty gloves. I remember my uncle having some gloves and stuff in his antique store.
