This Morning...

..as I looked out the window into the back pasture.. I realized why I will never live in the city again.  The total and utter calm that comes over me when I see sights like this remind me to thank God every day for leading me here...
..because He gave it to me..there is no place more beautiful... more peaceful...

..until something interrupts the calm...

enter 6 horses...

giving me the stink eye.....

...and saying - HEY YOU... DREAMER...

GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE AND FEED US!

Good one, Julie! It's a sentiment that hits home to all horse-owning country dwellers.

I can totally relate!! the moment I open the door to the back patio I am 'summoned' to the barn!! Heaven forbid they have to wait even a moment! Don't I know they are about to expire from imminent starvation? Can't I tell that they will fade away into nothingness if not plied with breakfast immediately? I, meanwhile haven't even had a cup of tea!! lol!!Oh, well. I generally feel it's best to just give in gracefully!!
