Okay - so not all of these are odd. In fact several are quite charming sidesaddle collectibles.. but each was unique enough to almost be in a category all by itself.. unless I grouped them under oddities! For instance:
Sidesaddle piano music??..
..a cute rubber stamp for you crafters out there..
..okay - this one is a bit odd...
.. the one and only sidesaddle themed needlepoint pillow I have ever seen...
..and a Hermes tie with a sidesaddle motif!

My father was a professional musician who played his trombone for everything from Broadway musical road companies to horse shows. Portland's PI Show (Pacific International Livestock Exposition) is no longer in existence, but it combined horse show and rodeo with livestock judging. A live band played music for the nightly (matinees on weekends) horse show. I don't recall sidesaddle classes, but they did have gaited horses -- which of course required the "Tennessee Waltz" for the Tennessee walkers. So who knows? Appropriate music for a ladies' sidesaddle class?
I have that Hermes tie!
You had better keep that tie then... or sell it on e-bay.. it went for over $50.00 or more.. as I did not catch the final price.
