The reason I am showing you these wonderful post cards is to tell you that Don and I are going to go on a vacation. We are leaving tomorrow, flying to Canada where we will board a ship and cruise up the inside passage in Alaska.
We will get off the ship in Alaska and board a train to Anchorage.
Once in Anchorage we will fly back to Texas.
We are so fortunate to have a family friend who is literally going to move into our home to care for our animals.... ALL 32 of them!!!
Please don't forget about me. I shall return with lots of new posts about the 27th of June. In fact, I am planning on showing for the first time again on the weekend of the 4th. It is an open show... perfect starting point before I start back into the more competitive breed shows!
(This is where you write a comment to tell me to have a good time and that you really will miss me!) snicker snicker...

What will we do without you Julie!! Have a GREAT time! I'm sure you will, Alaska is amazing. Vancouver is a neat city too, I was born there & still have some family in the area. Can't wait to see you pictures when you get back!
Have a great time and I can't wait to hear about it on your return. You will definately be missed, checking into your blog is part of my morning routine: get fire going, make coffee, quick internet before kids are awake :)
Enjoy your holiday!!
A seat for a rider, -- usually made of leather, padded to span comfortably a horse's back, furnished with stirrups for the rider's feet to rest in, and fastened in place with a girth; also, a seat for the rider on a bicycle or tricycle.Thanks.:)
Sounds like a very exciting trip! Have a great time! And very neat postcards, too :)
I hope you have so much fun, on your trip. While you've been gone I went through all of your art posts for pictures to use on crafts for me and for 4-H horse kids. I just wanted to say thank you for posting such great resources, your blog is a treasure trove of information and art!
Yup, hope you had a good time and welcome back! Nose to the grindstone and all that.
