..that can be easily used for sidesaddle costumes.
I have lived through LOTS of fashion styles.. born in the 60's ~ BIG hair and rising hemlines.. pre-teen & teen years in the 70's ~ REALLY short hemlines, bell bottom pants and long straight hair.. Older teen in the 80's ~ big hair and bigger shoulder pads and so on! .. Some styles have stayed my favorites regardless of what year it is and one of those things is called a Peplum jacket! Ironic that it is also used on riding suits in the late 19th century.
Look at this beautiful black jacket being sold on E-bay for 199.00. Front view:

..and I found this stunning picture on Pinterest. So sad to say that there was no information about where to purchase it though...as I would have ripped out my credit card in a New York second to own it. This type of jacket would have satisfied the qualifications to be considered a saddlesuit jacket when I ride sidesaddle against other saddleseat riders.
**sigh** .. I just love really elegant fashion. Don't you?

Etsy is a great place for custom clothes, especially with a vintage feel.
yes - that one is really nice too. Not long enough to work as a saddleseat coat.. but really elegant too.
I already sent Cindy from Wild Horse Fashion an e-mail about the jacket I posted the pic of!
