While we are waiting for that...I thought I would kind of sidestep sidesaddle for a moment because I know something about every single one of you! If you love horses.. you love horse decor. Yes - some of it is funny, even to the point of being gaudy, but whether you host only a picture or 2, an equestrian book on your coffee table or just a simple photo of your beloved equine friend, I think you will love the following pictures! Get ready to be totally inspired!
Whether it is a whole bedroom made to look like a tack room...
or a study (look closely at the table legs!)

or even the area over the range in a kitchen..
.. when you are in love with horses, you cannot help but have them with you in some form or fashion where you live...
Me - I chose to just go ahead and live WITH my horses in the barn!

I happen to think your Barndominium is extremely cool, and the epitome of horse-decor! :-) Seriously, I looooooove to decorate with horse anything. Just ask my long-suffering family, who put up with Secretariat stuff all over the dining room, living room and family room mantel, more art and even a hunting horn in the powder room and foyer, and a giant (15' long) shelf in my bedroom chock-full of horse things including my old saddle (shades of Cracker Barrel). I am limited in my tastes :-) (Although I do have a bunch of rooster stuff in the kitchen)
I NEED that bedroom. That is all. :)
It's not even just the horsey stuff. It's the dark wood and the general feeling of "this place has been around for a long time and has character". I want an old house when I grow up and buy my own, LOL.
