"Julie, you've got it!!"
That is what my instructor said to me on Saturday when I started to trot and very easily started posting the trot with Oliver's first step. I am not anxious about it anymore..and as long as he trots square, it is almost as easy as posting the trot astride....well ALMOST!! It still takes more energy to post aside.
Anyway - I cannot imagine wanting to hear any other 4 words more ...well except for maybe, "Julie, you won the lottery!"
snicker snicker...

:-) Not only the encouraging words from the trainer, but the response from the horse. The challenge and reward of riding horses = those moments of total unison.
