Trail Riding Compromise...

So lets say that you are a 'traditionalist' and while you want to trail ride aside, you don't want to wear totally modern day clothes as Lindsay is ..

...but it would be totally impractical to ride in costume though, like this rider (tee hee...)

Well, here is a STUNNING compromise for you!

I just LOVE this cross of modern day riding pants combined with a jacket that has Victorian written all over it!!! What do you think?

Beautiful! I love the riding jacket

Love that jacket! I think I'd just keep an apron handy to put over my breeches. Then again, I need to get a side saddle first! And teach critter that there are no monsters hiding under every little thing :)

That is awesome. I like that.

Pretty! And the red jacket color really pops off the black and white of the horse, too.

By the way, one of the other blogs I read posted photos and stories about her lovely 1901 Sears Model Tapestry Seat Western style Side Saddle. The owner has ridden it in parades and out on the trail here in New Mexico on her Appy mare.
I thought you might be interested, since your post is about trail riding on a side saddle.
