THE SIDEBAR...

I have added 2 new categories to my sidebar... Movie Time and Library. Movie Time will direct you to the posts that have web links to video footage. Library is for any post that has a reference to a book that was noted on the blog.

As for other categories:

When I first started this blog, I was learning everything myself...from the history of the sport to what kind of equipment, clothes and accessories I needed and so much more. I tried very hard to categorize everything in this sidebar to make it easier for new readers to find this valuable information. There are categories like Instructions..where you will find how to tie a sidesaddle apron or cinch up a sidesaddle properly..and even how to fit a sidesaddle to your horse!

Another area; Learning to Ride will direct you to posts showing the proper sitting and leg position on a sidesaddle.

Still another area; Saddles will show you a huge variety of old and new sidesaddles that are available for collectors and riders alike.

If you have suggestions as to how I can help to make navigation easier - please share it with me. My whole goal for this blog was for it to be a great reference tool for Me and others out there just like me, who want to learn as much as they can about the art of Riding Aside!

In the short year and a half that I have been working on this blog - I have managed to post over 400 posts... That is a LOT of information on one subject!!!...and I am not even close to being done!!

Thank you Julie for a reminder to me ~ always look at sidebars!!! Sometimes visually I can only focus in on one item (one tree at a time in a whole forest of trees lol) and thats usually the latest post.

My bad! I will use the search tool :) from now on...("muttering to myself that from now on I will take the time to view sidebars!"...)

I just wanted to say that I have been checking this blog a lot lately. I have always wanted to ride side saddle, but haven't a clue where to start. All the information you share is wonderful, and the pictures are just amazing.
