Showing With Really Short Hair..Part 2

If your hair is extremely short, obviously it is best to just spray it down so it does not move, rather risk a hair piece coming off at a most inopportune time!

This is a chignon. It is a fake bun that comes in many colors and twist designs. You just pin them in, usually over a small pony tail you make with your own hair.

It is helpful to affix them in with not only bobby pin, but with hair pins like this as well.

A very modest decorative pin could be used if you are dressing in costume. Not acceptable though in hunt.

This is me....

...and this is me too.I am a hair chameleon! I love to change the style and color of my hair often. I will wear very long extensions for a few months and then go back to short hair..so I use many of the suggestions given here, just depending on what I am doing with my hair at that time!

I know in driving we wear hat pins to keep our hat on our heads. Is it acceptable to wear them in sidesaddle? If so I will donate one for your give aways you have. I have quite the few of them because I used to make them and can even customize the colours to a persons costume.

OMG Sydney - that is so sweet! In a non-rated show, I would wear one if it was modest and matched my outfit! I am sure that the other readers would love to have a chance to win one!

Heck - I would wear one to work!

I am not very good with hair. Hair is always a mystery to me. Mine never seems to look good! :)

Hi Julie..thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Always love to have new visitors and their comments.

This "riding" blog is a whole new thing to me. How interesting. I'll be back to get to understand your world a little.

As for hair, mine is so thin that I can't do much with it, although I am a firm believer in enhancing my original color.

Julie, thanks so much for stopping in at my blog today! Always fun meeting new people. By the way, I'm always too chicken to change my hair style :)

I love changing my hair too, though I have not changed anything but the color in a long time!

I never know how to pronounce,"chignon?"

I am not currently showing but adore all the hair buns you featured. I am going to experiment with a few of these. Thank you for sharing.
