These are classic vintage top hats - the one above with it's case and the one below circa 1863 still have it's vintage veil attached!
Lovely, don't you think! Other than some variation of the height of the hat, and it's construction, a quality top hat has remained unchanged. Mine is made of beaver and is over 50 years old - still in perfect condition...style and even constructive materials. I love the one below!!
This photo was dated 1940 from Spain. I imagine she is riding in her country costume and her horse would likely be a Paso Fino.
...and this was just so cute.. how could I not include it in this post!!!

Looks like the Paso is a Peruvian Paso :) The Peruvians paddle when they gait, the Paso Fino's dont... but LOVE the hats!
If it was from Spain, the horse is most likely to be one of the Iberian breeds. To me the horse looked like an Andalusian.
