I had no idea the miniature world was so ...well...BIG! ha ha. Just look at this!!!
Jennifer Buxton is her name and let me just say this girl has a true talent for details. I don't think my sidesaddle is this well made!!! Here is what she had to say about her sidesaddle work in miniature:
"That was the first and so far only sidesaddle I've made. I really want to make another, but haven't had the time yet.
I can't remember what I charged for that one. It was probably in the $250-$300 range and I also don't remember how long it took. A regular type of English saddle generally takes between ten and fifteen hours so it was probably in that range.
I should also mention that I'm not taking new orders right now. I'm booked up until at least early summer if not beyond. There is a surprisingly high demand for good quality scale model tack."

I read her blog and I now consider trying to make some custom model tack. Heck I have all the leather and tools and then some.
Julie - Doesn't she make the most amazing tack?! Her English saddles are complete replicas!
Sydney- Feel free to ask away if you ever have questions! Beware, it becomes an addiction!
WOW!!! I can't believe how detailed that little saddle is. If you hadn't said it was model-sized I don't think I would have known without much looking.
