So pure ignorance was asking - not certain about different disciplines, but I asked the worker who has grown up riding side saddle whether at the trot she sits or rises/posts to the trot in the class and she said that she sits but thought that in the US they tended to rise - know about this at all?
The answer to this is "both". If a lady posts a trot in the show ring, she must post all trots in that class to be correct. I do admit to sitting the trot then posting the extended or road trot.
