But what a terrible Christmas for their family that year, that's just awful!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533706630841572685.post-53822174202674790792010-12-15T12:40:32.196-06:002010-12-15T12:40:32.196-06:00The side passe comment from the judge made me gigg...The side passe comment from the judge made me giggle...

So sorry for your loss, Kathy. It always takes a bit from you when you have to put down a horsefriend...but it was the right thing to do.Janice Grinyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14363741660626407979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533706630841572685.post-14468489773898620992010-12-14T22:37:04.004-06:002010-12-14T22:37:04.004-06:00I can only imagine how devastating it must be to l...I can only imagine how devastating it must be to lose an equine friend :(
I do hope you continue with Kathy's story, she looks so natural, like she was born to ride aside - in fact I am mildly jealous!
Her story is like a fairy tale to me. Picking up the phone to find a local instructor, and just buying a sidesaddle - these are the elements of fantasy to me.
Here in the last flung outpost of the Old Empire (or New Zealand) the ladies who emmigrated obviously didn't bring sidesaddles as they are impossibly hard to find here and saddlers & instructors with any knowledge are virtually non-existant. So please continue with her story and I hope it has a happy outcome :)Anitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17131270953218930833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533706630841572685.post-11458038168446947822010-12-14T21:41:08.027-06:002010-12-14T21:41:08.027-06:00Oh dear :( I was smiling so much reading/catching...Oh dear :( I was smiling so much reading/catching up on Part 1, then to get to the end of Part 2... such a sad series of things to go through.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15321118722150772797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533706630841572685.post-71257909868868636892010-12-14T16:58:51.983-06:002010-12-14T16:58:51.983-06:00What an awful, awful period of time to live throug...What an awful, awful period of time to live through.
